What are the steps involved in the removal and installation process of the oil cooler on Chrysler Sebring? Posted by Customer
    A:
In performing this change, first clear the fuel pressure and afterward, further, disconnect the negative terminal on the battery or the remote ground terminal. Next, drain the coolant. Then, take out the lower intake manifold, and the oil cooler mounting screws, and bolts. Go ahead and pull out the oil cooler and throw away the seals. In performing installation, first of all, new seals has to be installed into an oil cooler. Next, fit the oil cooler onto the block and then install the two screws that are used for the mounting, then the two bolts, before you tighten the bolts to the recommended torque. As for the rest of the installation the order is the inversion of the removal order. Last, add more water to the cooling system, start the car and let the engine to reach normal temperature and look for signs of leakage.
