    Disconnect the negative battery cable and IBS connector (if equipped). Remove the lower instrument panel insulator and blower motor resistor/power module. Replace the entire unit if either fan or motor is damaged. Installation is reverse of removal.

    Start by disconnecting the cable from the negative battery terminal. Then, remove the lower instrument panel insulator. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the blower motor resistor or power module. Remove the mounting screws and take it out of the housing. To install, simply reverse the removal process.
