    How do you replace the Park/Neutral position switch on an automatic transaxle on Dodge Neon? Posted by Customer

    Raise the front of the vehicle and place it securely on jackstands. The Park/Neutral position switch is located at the front lower left corner of automatic transaxles. Disconnect the electrical connector from the switch and unscrew it, discarding the old O-ring. Install a new O-ring, even if planning to reuse the old switch. Install the switch and tighten it to the specified torque, then plug in the electrical connector. Lower the vehicle and check the automatic transaxle fluid level, adding fluid as necessary.
