Separate the assembly from the engine mount bracket and engine compartment.

Remove the right side engine mount bracket and brace mounting bolts.

Engine mounts should be replaced immediately if they are broken or deteriorated to prevent damage or accelerated wear on driveline components.

The right side engine mount is fluid-filled, while the other three mounts are made of molded rubber.

Remove the bolt to separate the transmission mount from the chassis, with the nut accessible through a hole behind the wheel assembly.

1. Remove the load on the engine mounts by carefully supporting the engine and transaxle assembly with a floor jack. 2. Loosen the right insulator vertical fasteners and the front engine mount bracket-to-front crossmember bolts and nuts. 3. The left engine mount insulator is sleeved over the shaft and long support bolt to provide lateral movement adjustment. 4. Pry the engine right or left as required to achieve the proper driveaxle length. 5. Securely tighten the right engine mount insulator vertical bolts, the front engine mount bolts and nuts, and center the left engine mount insulator. 6. Finally, recheck the driveaxle length.
