How to Remove and Install an Ignition Coil on Chrysler 200?

Remove the engine cover(s) as necessary to access the components. Disconnect the negative battery cable from the remote ground terminal or battery. For the 2.4L engine, disconnect the electrical connector from the ignition coil and remove the bolt attaching the ignition coil to the valve cover. Grasp the ignition coil firmly and pull off the spark plug using a twisting motion. Installation is the reverse of removal. For the 2.7L/3.5L V6 engine, remove the upper intake manifold to access the coils. Disconnect the electrical connector from the ignition coil and remove the bolt attaching the ignition coil to the valve cover.
