    If available, spray compressed air around the tops of the coils to ensure debris will not fall into the spark plug tube upon removal. Remove the engine cover. Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery. Disconnect the electrical connector from the ignition coil. Remove the bolt attaching the ignition coil to the valve cover. Grasp the ignition coil and twist off the spark plug. To reinstall, switch the removal steps going from the last step to the first step.
