How to remove and install the steering gear on Dodge Caravan?

To remove the rack and pinion, drain the power steering pump reservoir and remove the intermediate shaft coupler cover. Also, disconnect the intermediate shaft coupler and remove the wheels. Remove the emissions vapor canister, power steering cooler, tie-rod ends, and subframe/cradle reinforcement plate. To install, center the new rack and pinion, align the index marks on the shafts, and install the mounting bolts. Reinstall the fluid lines, reinforcement bolts, and wheels.
