How to remove and inspect the clutch release bearing on Ram 3500?

Lift the vehicle and secure on jack stands. Remove the transmission and detach the clutch release lever. Remove and inspect the bearing for damage. Don't soak the bearing in solvent as it's sealed. Test the bearing by rotating it under pressure, replace if it's not smooth or is noisy. It's advised to replace the release bearing when changing clutch components. Lubricate the bearing ball stud and input shaft with high-temp grease. Reinstall the lever and bearing onto the shaft. Follow the reverse process for the rest of the installation.
