Installation is the reverse of removal. Tighten the caliper mounting bracket fasteners to the torque. Lower the vehicle and tighten the wheel lug nuts to the torque.

The vehicle should be securely supported on jackstands and the wheels should be blocked at the opposite end.

Start by loosening the wheel lug nuts and raising the vehicle on jackstands. Apply the parking brake and remove the wheels. Visually inspect the disc surface for score marks and other damage. Deep grooves require disc removal and refinishing. Check both sides of the disc. To check disc runout, place a dial indicator about 1/2-inch from the outer edge of the disc. Set the indicator to zero and turn the disc. The indicator reading should not exceed the runout limit. If it does, the disc should be refinished. Check the disc thickness with a micrometer.

Remove the cap from the brake fluid reservoir.

Raise the end of the vehicle and support it securely on jackstands. Block the wheels at the opposite end.
