- A:The Intake Manifold Temperature sensor must be installed correctly in the air duct or housing. The sensor is located on the air filter housing or air inlet ducting. To remove the sensor, disconnect the electrical connector and turn it 1/4-turn counterclockwise before pulling it out. Replace the O-ring if necessary.
