For the rear mount: 1. Raise the vehicle and remove the engine splash shield and downstream oxygen sensor. 2. Support the engine. 3. Remove the rear mount bracket-to-subframe bolts and the mount through-bolt. 4. Remove the mount by twisting it slightly. 5. Install the new mount into the bracket and tighten the through-bolt by hand. 6. Align the mount to the subframe, install and tighten the bolts to the specified torque, and finish by tightening the through bolt. 7. Installation follows the reverse order.

There are four powertrain mounts: 1. The front mount connects the transaxle to the crossmember. 2. The left mount secures the driver's side of the engine to the subframe. 3. The right engine mount attaches the engine block to the passenger's side of the subframe. 4. The rear mount links the engine block to the subframe.

Replace the engine mount, tighten the body-to-mount bolts, lower the engine, and tighten the mount-to-bracket bolts. The installation follows the reverse order.
