Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal. For 3.7L V6 and 4.7L V8 engines, disconnect the electrical connector from the MAP sensor and remove the mounting screw. Inspect the O-ring and replace it if necessary. To install, place the MAP sensor in position, and insert it into the mounting hole.

For HEMI engines, place it in position, insert it into the mounting hole in the intake manifold, and turn it 1/4-turn clockwise. For diesel engines, place the MAP sensor in position, insert it into the mounting hole in the intake manifold, and turn it 1/4-turn clockwise. Installation is otherwise the reverse of removal.
