    Q:
How do you reinstall the same CMP sensor for the 2006 Chrysler Town & Country? Posted by Customer
    A:
If reinstalling the same sensor, remove the paper spacer from the end of the sensor. Remove the old O-ring from the CMP sensor. If installing the old CMP sensor, clean off the sensor face and install a new paper spacer on the face before installing the sensor. Inspect the old O-ring for damage and replace if necessary. Apply a few drops of clean engine oil to the O-ring, then carefully install the CMP sensor in the timing chain cover and rotate it into position. Installation is otherwise the reverse of removal. Be sure to tighten the CMP sensor mounting bolt to the specified torque.
