    The MAP sensor is on the upper intake manifold. To remove it on 3.6L engines, begin by pulling off the engine cover. Then, disconnect the electrical connector from the sensor. On 2.4L engines, remove the screw and pull the sensor out. Make sure to inspect the O-ring for any damage and replace it if necessary. Installation is the reverse of removal.

    On 3.6L V6, MAP sensor is on top of intake manifold. On 3.7L V6 and 4.7L V8, it's in front. Disconnect electrical connector, remove mounting screw, and sensor from manifold. Inspect 0-ring for cracks, tears, and deterioration. For HEMI, MAP sensor is on front of intake manifold air plenum box. For diesel, it's on top of intake manifold. Remove 0-ring and inspect. Install by placing in position, inserting into mounting hole, and turning 1/4-turn clockwise.
